Digital Download: eStorybook for Grades PK-3
I’m usually pink and I match your tutu.
I look like a slipper, but they call me a shoe.
You’ll move to the music with me on your feet,
spinning and jumping without missing a beat.
What tool am I?
So now you know that a tool can be more than you thought before.
Not just hammers, not just wrenches, and sometimes not from a store.
Whatever job you choose, whatever is right for you,
work really hard and do your best. There’s nothing you can’t do!
This creative book teaches young children about different careers and the importance of using the right tool for the job. Each profession is depicted on two pages. As children read or hear the story, they learn about the tools used for different jobs including a Chef, Pilot, Firefighter, Soldier, Farmer, and Dancer. They also learn that their most important tool is their brain. The story concludes by telling children of the importance of working hard and doing their best in order to achieve their goals.
